According to the latest statistics announced by GSMA Intelligence in 2023, 126.9 million mobile phones are active in Iran. This number has increased by 3 million (about 2.5%) compared to last year. Since 2018, the number of smartphones has increased drastically in Iran, and the number of button or feature phones has decreased.
