The RTX 4060 Ti graphics card has a power of 160 watts in both models, and the RTX 4060 comes with a power of 115 watts.
The RTX 4060 Ti has 128-bit 18GB GDDR6 memory, and the RTX 4060 uses 17GB memory. The Ti model and the normal model have a bandwidth of 288 GB/s and 272 GB/s respectively.
Nvidia says the RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 graphics cards experience a significant performance boost when DLSS3 is enabled.
According to the Green Team, the 8GB and 16GB models of the RTX 4060 Ti are priced at $399 and $499, respectively. The price of RTX 4060 has not been announced yet.
The Founders Edition version of the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card
Nvidia will also release a Founders Edition model of the RTX 4060 Ti graphics card, which will be very similar to the RTX 4070 Founders Edition, except that its outer cover is now silver instead of gray. Note that this product does not use the same PCB and cooling hardware as the 4070 version because the RTX 4070 cards use the AD104 with 6 2GB GDDR6X chips, while the 4060Ti uses the Ad106 with 4 2GB GDDR6 chips.
The Founders Edition version of the RTX 40 series graphics cards have been well received by buyers, at least in terms of design. Thus, there will be no 16GB RTX 4060 Ti Founders Edition, as well as RTX 4060 Founders Edition.
Note that the RTX 4060 Ti Founders Edition still uses the 16-pin 12VHPWR connector. Considering that the said graphics card is 160 watts, using a 600 watts connector seems a bit strange. Of course, maybe this connector is intended to communicate with ATX 3.0 compatible PSUs, which means you still have to use a cable that protrudes 6 inches from the top of the graphics card.
RTX 4060 Ti performance based on Nvidia announcement
Nvidia has shared details of its tests with prominent hardware websites. As usual, the manufacturer’s claims make some people doubt these figures.
